Chapter 328

: Unlimited Self-Divide

Trust Qian Jin.
Fanta Kunge lowered his voice and looked forward as he said,
You haven’t seen his stealth technique that is…

Ultra-Smooth stealth technique! Pam Honzi looked at Qian Jin who didn’t move at all in the sand and was quite surprised. If he didn’t see Qian Jin get in the sand, he wouldn’t realize that there was a person present.
The Ancient Desert Sea under the sun would easily make people more anxious and violent. Therefore, it was hard to cover up any signs of life.

This… is the stealth technique from the Divine Shot Family.
Pam Honzi looped through his memory and remembered that only the Yuri Family had such a stealth technique. However, only warriors from Yuri Family who activated their bloodlines can do that.
This technique was bloodline technique in a sense… However… Pam Honzi shook his head. What Qian Jin was using was quite different from the stealth technique from Yuri Family. It seemed to be aggregated learning from Demon Beasts.
If one could say that the stealth technique of the Yuri Family had was best for archers to perform long-range snipes, then Qian Jin’s stealth technique for good for that and also for close range physical sneak attacks.
It was better! Although Pam Honzi didn’t want to admit it since Qian Jin already knew so much stuff and was great at them all, he had to admit that Qian Jin was better in terms of stealth technique.

Too bad! Why isn’t he my son?
Pam Honzi sighed again and again.
If he was my son and had activated his Hydra Bloodline, I’d be willing to die at this moment.

Wiggling! Pam Honzi also felt that Qian Jin was wiggled under the sand. It wasn’t through a close examination of life activity in the area, but rather looking at the tiny and subtle changes in the direction of sand flow to determine where Qian Jin was slowly moving to.
Fire Berserk Cactuses! Through the sand, Qian Jin was able to spot real Fire Berserk Cactuses! They were all at least two meters tall and were wider than cartwheels. Like humans, they had four limbs like parts, and they had a ton of ten centimeter long spikes.
These cactuses weren’t like how they were described in books. They didn’t like going to sunbathe. Instead, they were wondering and patrolling around like guards in a unique pattern.
A Thee-Eyed Sand Lion slowly wondered into the territories of these Fire Berserk Cactuses from afar. This beast was more than five meters long and shaped like a huge warrior chariot. The Fire Berserk Cactuses were like toys in front it.
Squeak… Squeak… Squeak…
The Fire Berserk Cactuses that were just wondering around all tensed up and more than a dozen of them quickly blocked the Three-Eyed Sand Lion’s path.
Qian Jin’s eyelid lightly twitched.
This speed? Are they really slow-moving Plant-form Demon Beasts? They are a lot faster me then I was a level 5 Demon Fighter back then.
The Three-Eyed Sand Lion was one of the strongest Mid-level Demon Beasts. It was able to cast several innate magics which were much stronger than the Sand Scorpion King’s magic spells. These spells would be very powerful in the desert and the lion’s level was much higher than the cactuses.
The Three-Eyed Sand Lion looked down at the squeaking Fire Berserk Cactuses with an expression filled with disdain. It opened its mouth and roared as if it wanted to scare these creatures away.
If these cactuses were gone, this Sand Lion would become a bit troublesome. Qian Jin felt like he was having a headache.
So I can’t use the Mystic Potion I prepared? Do I need to come up with a new plan to deal with this Sand Lion? It is a fast, powerful and agile creature…

Squeak!
A dozen Fire Berserk Cactuses suddenly appeared behind the Sand Lion as these cactuses circled around the Sand Lion in the middle. Numerous cactus spikes were shot out of these cactuses and towards the Sand Lion. The whooshing sound made Qian Jin feel like he was on the Human-Demon Battlefront and was hearing a group of archers shooting out their arrows.
Almost at the same time, the Sand Lion roared again.
How dare these little Plant-Form Demon Beasts challenge a high-level Demon Beasts?
It thought as gold like sand on the ground suddenly formed layers of walls rapidly and the spikes weren’t able to pierce through these thick sand walls. A few spikes that pierced through the sand walls fell to the ground afterward and couldn’t damage the Sand Lion at all.
In the blink of an eye, the cactuses shot out all of their spikes. With all that spikes on the sand, the sand walls looked like a huge piece of armor.
The Fire Berserk Cactuses without their spikes were smooth and looked like baby carrots. Then, spikes grew out of their surfaces almost instantly, and they started another round of shooting.

As soon as these new shots were fired, Qian Jin’s pupil contracted. These new spikes contained fire element power, and they exploded the sand walls after the first round of shooting. Next, the second round of shooting finally got met with the Sand Lion’s body.
OW!
The Three-Eyed Sand Lion roared angrily as it felt a lot of pain. Several huge hands made out of sand suddenly appeared under the Fire Berserk Cactuses and grasped them. Puff!
The Fire Berserk Cactuses were pulled by these hands and the sound of stuff getting torn apart resonated under the sky. Green liquid flew in the air as these cactuses were torn to pieces and their Magic Cores fell into the sand.
The Sand Lion opened its mouth and used its tongue to wrap the Magic Cores up before swallowing them. Those Magic Cores were like the best supplements. The Lion had a light green glow on its skin as if it was leveling up.
The rest of the Cactuses that weren’t killed by the attack quickly started to squeak and rush around like mad chickens. They ran into each other and compressed against each other as they wiggled.
In an instant, more than two hundred cactuses turned into one huge Fire Berserk Cactus that was more than ten meters tall.
The Three-Eyed Sand Lion looked up at the Fire Berserk Cactus as its eyes were filled with terror. A low-whine sounded from its throat as it turned around and tried to escape.
The Fire Berserk Cactus’s human like arm lightly turned and the spike-like cactus spikes that were two feet long switched position on its arm like a chain and formed a huge spear that was more than ten meters long. It struck the spear downward and instantly nailed the Sand Lion’s head into the sand.
At the next moment, the Sand Lion’s body quickly expanded like an air balloon that was being blown into.
Puff!
The huge spear made out of cactus spikes disappeared, and instead, numerous cactus spikes flew out of the Sand Lion’s body in all directions, and it left the Sand Lion’s body looking like a hornet nest. Blood spurted out in all directions as well.

Too wasteful! Just too wasteful!
Qian Jin secretly swallowed his drools as he thought.
These Fire Berserk Cactus are just too damn wasteful! This Sand Lion’s eyeballs can be used in medicine, its blood can be used in Mystic Potions, and other parts of its body can also be used.

What to do now? Its body is ruined.
Qian Jin frowned. The huge Fire Berserk Cactus started to wiggle again and it turned into many smaller Fire Berserk Cactuses again.
However, there were only about a hundred fifty cactuses instead of the two hundred before.
Qian Jin was surprised.
So combining together isn’t something that these cactuses are willing to do. Combining and separating would consume a portion of all cactuses. This isn’t something written in the books.

These cactuses all moved towards the Sand Lion’s corpse. Roots like objects grew out of these plant-form Demon Beasts and they stabbed them into the corpse.
This corpse that was pretty big in size instantly shrunk down visibly; even the fur was turned into nutrients and got sucked away. Soon, there was only a huge set of bones resting under the sun at the Ancient Desert Sea.
The wind blew by.
The white bones were turned into ashes and only a golden Magic Core was left in the sand as a proof of the existence of the Sand Lion.
The Fire Berserk Cactuses who sucked all the essence away from the corpse started to wiggle and wiggle…
Puff… Puff… Puff…
Divide! In front of Qian Jin’s eyes, these Fire Berserk Cactuses started to divide. One turned into two. The one hundred fifty cactuses that were left after the battle turned into about three hundred. A lot more than before the battle.

This? This is how these Fire Berserk Cactuses reproduce?
Qian Jin frowned as he thought. No wonder the Fire Berserk Cactuses had never advanced in level. After the energy inside of them reached the peak, they would self-divide to create more cactus and won’t advance in ranks.
Three hundred! Qian Jin let go of the breath that he was holding. This Ancient Desert Sea proved itself again. Three hundred Fire Berserk Cactuses! If there were only a few or a couple dozens, Qian Jin was confident that he was able to deal with that with his bows and Zhanmadao.
But three hundred? He would only run from that.
Squeak…
A cry of a few Fire Rats got Qian Jin’s attention. There was a red metal that was about the size of a watermelon was placed in the hot sand. Even though Qian Jin was still far away from it, he was still able to sense the heat coming from it. This metal was actually absorbing the heat from the sun.
