As Qian Wutian released his warrior power, his entire body was trembling with the anger vented from his bosom. After uttering a growl which resembled that of a wolf pack leader, he also activated his Warrior Heart.
He had also conglomerated his own [Warrior heart] over the past two months.
He did live up to the title of
a talented Elf-king Awakened Bloodline Warrior of the Qian Family
.
Bump. Qian Wuqing didn’t step back but marched forward by half a step and slightly bumped his back which made him look like a shrimp. With the rapid shaking his shoulders, he buckled his two arms inward and performed an ax-like move from the elbow.
Qian Family’s Fighting Technique: Meteor Shower.
Whoosh. Another sharp and fierce whooshing sound came from the air.
Qian Wuqing once more performed [Meteor Shower] after the first try with Qian Jin. However, this time he made it way more torrential, ferocious and furious.
If the strikes Qian Wuqing performed last time was like a display of Meteor Shower, this time it had ascended into a Comet Storm! The combination of Warrior Heart and strength of a Level 1 Demon Slayer demonstrated power many levels higher than what a Level 9 Demon Capturer could conjure!
The flying shadows of the elbow entwined with Qian Wutian’s arms in the blink of an eye as if innumerable hacksaws were designed to chop down his arms.
Meteor Shower vs. the Chariot-like Punch.
Qian Wutian didn’t hesitate for even a second and once again clenched his five fingers. With the tightening of his fist, Qian Wutian made a crisp cracking sound that came from his bones with which he turned his arms that were as stiff as steel to punch through Qian Wuqing’s Meteor Shower.
All of a sudden, miscellaneous sounds coming from the knocking of the elbow, the colliding of the fist, the tapping of the muscle and the crushing of the bones joined with each other to make a melodious symphony. The dust under their feet kept rising and soon reached the knees from the ankles.
The minute their elbows collided with each other, Qian Wuqing couldn’t keep his balance anymore and tilted backward ceaselessly. A trace of discernible footsteps each spanning half an inch was left on the ground, making a loud sound akin to the beating of a war drum.
Qian Wutian’s clenched fists were suddenly opened, which seemed to be bulging larger and larger. While for Qian Wuqing, his entire sight seemed to have been blocked by the palms.
All of a sudden, Qian Wuqing stretched his neck backward, trying to avoid the palm strike which was designed to pierce the sky.
Qian Wutian wore an aloof smile on his face as he was digging into the ground with his toes to transfer his strength to his ankles. Suddenly, he flew away like a dragonfly sliding over the water and exited the center stage battlefield. Taking on the shape of a phantom, Qian Wutian appeared behind Qian Wuqing with his palm hanging over the latter’s head silently.
The result of the fight had been made clear.
Qian Wuqing’s face turned pale as sweat exuded from his forehead. He looked at the place Qian Wutian disappeared from blankly and said,
How’s that possible? How could you perform the fighting technique so swiftly? Sky Stealing Palm Strikes, Sky Stealing Steps…
All the bystanders were rubbing their eyes, trying to recall what had happened just now, but it was all in vain. They had no idea how Qian Wutian appeared behind Qian Wuqing.
Qian Zhanxuan’s sullen face eventually turned sunny. Although he made up his mind to sentence a harsh punishment on these two young boys who disobeyed him, he was surprised by the two’s Warrior Hearts.
Both Qian Wuqing and Qian Wutian had surprised him. Though Qian Wuqing’s overall talent wasn’t satisfactory enough, he had surprisingly managed to condense a Warrior Heart. As for Qian Wutian, he undoubtedly possessed illustrious talent. However, Qian Wushan, the so-called genius of the generation, hadn’t obtained the Warrior Heart when he was at this age, let alone the Sky Stealing Palm Strikes and Sky Stealing Foot Steps.
Interesting. Quite interesting.
Qian Zhanxuan slightly nodded his head. He didn’t expect the abandoned family member to push two Elf-king Warriors with awakened bloodline power to make such great progress.
Looking at one corner of the messy battlefront, Qian Jin moved his lips while displaying a faint smile. The Sky Stealing Steps? Though he wasn’t clear on the arrangement sequence of the warrior power, he could see from the way Qian Wutian released his power that he was fully relying on the coordination between toes and ankles to utilize the power.

In fact, Qian Wutian’s moves were subtle. He was more like a shadow which attached itself to the back of Qian Wuqing. It was no use when Qian Wuqing tried to avoid the strike of Qian Wutian’s Sky Stealing Palm Strike.
Qian Wuqing put on a sullen face and slowly walked toward Qian Chenyuas if both of his legs had been filled with lead. He then bent over gradually and said in a low voice,
Father…
Defeated. Over the past two months, Qian Wuqing had been sandwiched between life and death, making every little effort he could to defeat Qian Jin to get rid of the mockery he suffered from the other bloodline warriors in the family.
He thought he could avenge for himself and erase the stigma placed on him. However, he was deprived of the opportunity of challenging Qian Jin by a younger cousin who reached the bloodline power awakened level two years later than him.
To make things worse, he was defeated in such a humiliating way as there were no injuries on his body at all. He had to acknowledge his loss. Besides, both he and his opponent didn’t use magic in the fleeting exchange.
No opportunity to use the magic. Qian Wuqing kept trembling, reluctant to the fact that he was defeated by someone who hadn’t used the full power.
Qian Chenyu lifted his arms, placed it over the back of Qian Wuqing’s head, and hugged his son. While patting Qian Wuqing on the head softly, he whispered,
It’s nothing. It’s nothing at all. My dear son, let’s go to the Ancient Desert Sea for further practice. Next time, we will be the winner.
Qian Jin.
Standing on the battlefront, Qian Wutian looked like a banner fluttering in the wind. He suddenly lifted his arms and pointed at Qian Jin’s direction as he said in a low husky voice:
It’s your turn.
For the moment being, everyone’s attention was drawn to Qian Jin, the actual leading role today. The reason why the two Elf-King Bloodline Warrior fought was to get to him.
In front of the gate of the Qian Family, the crowd stared at Qian Jin in silence.
Yet Qian Jin’s sight was fixed on his father standing not far away. As his father was still under control of the Qian Family, how should he behave in this fight?
To win? To lose? If he won, Qian Zhanxuan would be enraged and would potentially threaten his father’s life. So in this way, his victory would yield no gains.
Gazing at Qian Jin, the Snake Emperor couldn’t stop sighing.
How could Qian Jin’s father turn out to be so weak? If not for him, how could Qian Jin fall into such a situation?
Pam Honzi thought. Since the Qian Family’s domestic affairs couldn’t be interfered by the royal family, he, being the family leader of the Hydra Bloodline Warrior Family, was also of no help to Qian Jin at all.
Everything was Qian Jin’s own struggles to face. Pam Honzi kept shaking his head, thinking to himself that Qian Jin’s father was really the biggest obstacle in his way.
Qian Zhanxuan glanced over the small battlefield with a big smile worn on his face. The strength from the fists was not the only source of power of a warrior. To create true strength one had to combine his intelligence with his strength while calculating competencies and political influences.
By now, Qian Jin’s warrior connections are still locked. Even if the Snake Emperor freed his warrior power lock at the risk of enraging the Qian Family, things wouldn’t be changed at all
He thought:
As of now, even the most mundane member of the Qian Family who hadn’t awakened any bloodline power was capable of defeating Qian Jin. As long as the old groom, Qian Cheng, is still within the control of the Qian Family, Qian Jin has to yield to the family.
Qian Wutian, could you behave a little sleazier?
Duren Burg shouted loud.
Now that Qian Jin’s father is under your control, how could he fight against you with full strength?
All of a sudden, the bystanders’ attention was scattered between Qian Cheng and Qian Wutian.
So? What do you want me to do? Do you want me to come to some sort of arrangement?
Qian Wutian wore a lofty and scornful look on his wolf-like face.
What does it have to do with me that you’re in a disadvantageous situation? If you run into an enemy who only has one arm, will you chop down one of yours to have a so-called fair fight with him? There isn’t one hundred percent fairness in the world.
Qian Wushan’s eyes were twinkled with tranquil satisfaction. For the past while, Qian Wutian had achieved striking progress which involved not only the growth of combat abilities and fighting techniques but also the enhancement of mental power. If today’s scene was to occur in the past, this imperious guy would surely lodge the guarantee agreement to make this a so-called
fair fight
.
Pam Honzi’ twisted eyebrows showed signs of worry since Qian Wutian didn’t behave proudly after conquering Qian Wuqing. Instead, both his mental and physical state were kept at their peak where Duren Burg’s instigation made no use at all.
Qian Jin.
Qian Cheng’s voice, weak and full of hardship-beaten vigor as it was spread over the area and drew the attention of all.
His arched beaten back was silently straightened up, his messy hair was combed neatly at the back of the head, and his morbid eyes gave out an unprecedented shining light.
My son. Do you know what my biggest hope for you was?
Qian Cheng gently pushed away Lucifer Lucy’s assisting arms. As he was trembling slightly, a flush appeared on his sallow face.
That is, seeing my son rise up in the world and live a happy life where he doesn’t need to kneel at anybody.
He continued.
I hope my son could stand firm on the ground with the stars above his head. I hope my son could get away from the life I am resigned to. I hope that he could tell the rest of the world that the blood flowed in his veins is not inferior to anyone else. And I hope that when others speak about me in the future, they could refer to me as Qian Jin’s father, instead of calling my name Qian Cheng.
My son. As a father, I am too weak to help you with anything. But I do not wish to stand as an obstacle on your way forward. Do you still remember what I said to you upon your first departure with the family? Now that you are young and full of dreams, do whatever you want, with courage. Do not copy your father who spent his life regretting the things he hadn’t done when he was young. Just do whatever you like.
