All the enchantments Qian Wutian conjured were broken through by Qian Jin in a blink. The Wind Shield didn’t escape from being torn apart, the smashing of which produced a string of thunderbolt-like sounds.
Death. In the twinkling of an eye, numerous images flashed through Qian Wutian’s mind. While recalling the fragments of his life, he suddenly sensed a special feeling called a
breakthrough
.
Never had Qian Wutian felt so close to death before. Even when he was receiving special training in the Ancient Desert Sea, he hadn’t ever sensed the advent of death. In a flash, all the memory fragments appeared before his eyes. Then suddenly, he seized an opportunity of making a breakthrough.
What a pity.
Qian Wutian uttered a long and lamenting sigh. The enlightenment came too late because to make a breakthrough took time, which might require several of days of meditation in calmness and concentration.
To achieve a breakthrough in the middle of a battle? Such things only occurred in fairytales or were achieved by warriors who had awakened their bloodline warrior power. It did take time to embrace this invaluable enlightenment.
However, such time… Qian Wutian felt a trace of desperate hope as he blinked his eyes. He didn’t have any time left.
Qian Jin.
Appalling murderous intent came from behind Qian Wutian coupled with a violent force rushing forward like a truck.
All one could sense on the battlefield was torrential warrior power and killing intent. In a blink, the strength possessed by Qian Chenyu as a Level 9 Demon Slayer streamed out like tides rolling over the bank.
Kill Qian Jin. Qian Chenyu had made up his mind to kill Qian Jin, even at the price of being sanctioned by the family or even sentenced to death. The only thing he could see in this world at this moment was Qian Jin, toward whom he made a sudden unexpected move.
The translucent air around Qian Jin suddenly reflected a faintly curved light, making Qian Jin’s outline appear a little distorted. The dust in the air, which was floating seconds ago, dropped to the ground like stones. They didn’t drift down, they simply dropped.
Gravity. Pam Honzi felt a little tinkling, as it dawned on him that this was the top confidential fighting technique of the Qian Family, the Kun-fighting Technique. Any member of the Elf-king Bloodline Warrior Family, even if they hadn’t awakened the bloodline power, was able to practice a portion of this technique. As for those who had awakened the Elf-king Bloodline Warrior Power, the might they conjured was strikingly infinite.
Five times gravity. Just as Qian Chenyu performed his first strike of the Kun-fighting Technique to the peak, Qian Jin felt that the force of gravity surrounding him had increased by five times.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh…under five times the force of gravity and with the colliding of Qian Jin’s fast movements and the airflow, his clothes seemed to have been torn apart forcibly. Then his ankles and toes stamped on the ground and jolted harshly all of a sudden.
A simplified version of Innumerable Shadows.
No sooner had the pressing force been alleviated fully did Qian Wutian feel it accrued to another level. An indiscernible black shadow loomed in the air and started to rush forward and there at a fast speed.
Hit!
Before Qian Chenyu released his attack, Qian Jin thumped his palm on Qian Wutian’s chest, by which surging warrior power jetted out and got through the magic protection body of the Level 2 Stone Body Spell and the assorted body-protection enchantments Qian Wutian had just conjured.
Crack! Crack! Crack…
Unable to withstand the thump of Qian Jin’s fist on his rib bones, Qian Wutian began to vomit blood from his mouth and open up his pores to evaporate the blood mist which contained Qian Jin’s warrior power; that alleviated the injuries on his body.
Do you want me to die? If I die, you will also suffer a lot. Oh my Warrior-Heart, burst for me!
Qian Wutian opened his eyes as wide as he could, as crimson blood was spewing out incessantly and the Warrior-Heart kept ascending and bulging inside him, which pushed the entirety of his warrior power toward Qian Jin’s palms. The torrential warrior power, which was more formidable more than ever before, bounced back at Qian Wutian after touching Qian Jin’s palm and ended with the flopping of Qian Wutian. Instead of killing Qian Jin, Qian Wutian moved away from the attack range of Qian Jin.
The Warrior Heart exploded all of a sudden. Glaring at Qian Jin with a desperate look, Qian Wutian flopped down hard on the ground, leaving a long trace of scarlet blood on the earth.
At that crucial moment, to save his own life, Qian Wutian forcibly exploded his Warrior Heart that was gained through backbiting struggles. This move was able to allow him to use powers way beyond his level for once.
The distracting function of magic body-protection, lined with the counterattack of a Warrior Heart explosion and the support from Qian Chenyu finally enabled Qian Wutian to withhold the strike of Qian Jin.
It was a shame not having mastered any sequencing of the fighting technique in his Warrior Heart, or else he would have been able to give Qian Jin some injuries. On the point of thinking about this, Qian Wutian flashed out a violent light from his eyes and threw out another mouthful of blood.
Kill Qian Jin. Kill him. I will kill him sooner or later.
There was only one thought on Qian Chenyu’s mind when performing the move, that was, killing Qian Jin, even if it might be against the rules of the duel, or disgrace the Qian Family, or even end up with his own death as sentenced by the family leader. This young person called Qian Jin was way too strong, whom, if not finished off, would stand as a perpetual enigma for his son Qian Wuqing.
Kill Qian Jin. Kill him by any means necessary. Qian Chenyu changed all his thoughts into a strong murderous intent and unleashed an unexpected attack which shocked Pam Honzi a lot.
Warrior power of Level 9 Demon Slayer at the speed of one hundred thousand cycles. Qian Chenyu released an attack at full strength, causing his warrior power to swirl fervently in his energy connections causing a string of splattering sounds. Resonated to the ears, the splattering sounded like either surging torrents rippling back and forth or falling meteors colliding with the air.
A cluster of meteors glided through the air and then fell to earth, triggering a heavy shock.
As a Level 9 Demon Slayer, Qian Chenyu released this attack at full power, regardless of all potential risks. The bulging of his energy connections produced a sound resembling the meteors gliding through the air, while the stamping of his feet mimicked the meteor shower falling on the ground.
The fighting technique was known as [Meteor Shower].
[Meteor Shower] triggered a gust of wind formed by warrior power, which was even more ferocious and explosive than what Qian Wuqing could do. It functioned as the meteors carried with strong explosive force and tried to collide with Qian Jin. Each and every move from Qian Chenyu’s fists was like a meteor gliding through the air and falling onto the ground.
A visible white line flashed through the galaxy. It was the outcome of a meteor shower colliding with the air flow.
One hundred thousand cycles, thirty thousand cycles faster than that of Qian Jin. It was the first time for Qian Jin to meet with someone who possessed more rapid warrior power rotation speed than him since he set foot in the Warriors’ world.
In that moment, Qian Jin felt unprecedentedly horrified. A million pieces of fine hair stood out as if they were prodded by an electric current. Seen from afar, there seemed to be a puddle of soybeans dispersed on his bare arms. The bones on his upper body quivered at an extremely high frequency as if the bearer himself was feeling dreadful.
Innumerable Shadows. The moves of [Meteor Shower] performed by Qian Chenyu blew up where Qian Jin had just been standing and the heavy wind formed by his warrior power tore the fake shadow into pieces all in a blink of the eye.
Qian Chenyu flung his elbows without looking back. The move of [Meteor Shower] was still covering Qian Jin’s head. Being a Level 9 Demon Slayer who had gone through millions of life-or-death fights, this experienced bloodline warrior was able to detect Qian Jin’s whereabouts according to the change of the airflows on the battlefield.
Another meteor shower formed by the shadows of a dozen fists came upon Qian Jin’s face again, which soon moved to strike his vital areas.
Innumerable Shadows. Qian Jin swung his muscles rapidly and started stamping on the ground. After two loud cracking sounds of his feet knocking on the earth, he moved behind Qian Chenyu. Sending out his right fist and swinging it like a spiral, Qian Jin successfully managed to send of Land Tearing Chop at his enemy’s nape.
Qian Chenyu felt a tingling on his scalp, as a chill rushed from his spinal cord to his brain. What the hell was that movement technique? Why did it resemble the Sky Stealing Steps? What on earth was this fighting technique? It unexpectedly made people feel that the land had been torn apart.
The moment lightning flashed through the air, Qian Chenyu swiftly gathered some warrior power from his ankles and dipped all his fingers into the earth, in a way to blow up his warrior power with this special sequencing – Sky Stealing Steps.
Hiss. The move of Land Tearing Chop made a curved trace of warrior power in the sky, forcing Qian Chenyu to retreat using his Sky Stealing Steps by half a meter. Then Qian Chenyu turned around, protruded his elbow and took on the shape of an ax to chop at Qian Jin’s head.
Innumerable Shadows. Qian Jin’s muscles and bones that were carrying warrior power once again vibrated fast, and he moved behind Qian Chenyu again. He took out his left fist that was hidden around his left flank to
peck
the nape of Qian Chenyu.
What was this? A snake? And a wild one? Qian Chenyu’s heart was beating fiercely and a layer of goosebumps appeared on his skin. He felt as if he was caught by a serpent when walking in the open field. Yet it didn’t seem to him that someone had conjured a move of Snake Fighting Technique.
Sky Stealing Steps. Innumerable Shadows.
At the same time, Qian Jin quickly slid right behind Qian Chenyu as a piece of plaster and showed up in the place Qian Chenyu was going to stand at in advance.
How come? Qian Chenyu felt severely dreadful as he had sensed the air flow brought about by Qian Jin’s move. The attack seemed to be drawing nearer and nearer, which would hit him in a short while. Given Qian Jin’s fast speed, Qian Chenyu bet that even a strong enchantment wouldn’t be able to stop him or even win a bit of time for him.
What frightened him the most was that Qian Jin was totally free from the fivefold increase of gravity. Where on earth did he master this eerie fighting technique?
What was this fighting technique? How could it be faster than my Sky Stealing Steps? Qian Chenyu buckled his toes and gave up his intention of dashing forward at full speed. Instead, he left a roughly invisible black shadow on the ground and stressed a ten meters distance with Qian Jin.
Well, that was it. As Qian Chenyu laid his feet firmly on the ground, he felt elated, thinking that Qian Jin was after all unable to move a long distance at full speed.
Since he just possesses warrior power volume of a Level 8 Demon Capturer, he would be easily finished off by me so long as I drag this out. It seemed that the rotation speed of his warrior power isn’t as fast as mine, so as long as I take the lead and launch several moves of Sky Stealing Steps, I will be able to win. This time…
Qian Jin swept away the cold sweat on his forehead, feeling astonished by the strong power of this Level 9 Demon Slayer.
Had it reached a warrior power rotation speed of one hundred cycles? He had fully exploited the might of Meteor Shower to its greatest. If it wasn’t for the activation of Innumerable Shadows, I would have already been killed by this enemy, who seemed to be determined to win this battle.
Qian Jin thought.
After pondering on this for a short while, Qian Jin fiercely shook his body. While activating his energy reservoirs and connections, he produced an incessant gust of wind around him as if swirls of cyclones had converged together to form a hurricane.
