Chapter 9: Fortunately

Mr. snorted with a thick nasal sound, no longer looked at him, his eyes swept over Gu Hai who was sitting in his seat.
Gu Hai didn't seem to notice the change in the atmosphere of the room. He lowered his head and stared blankly at the words he wrote. Although there was no change in his expression on his face, the violent ups and downs in his chest showed that his inner emotions were agitated.
didn't know what he thought of, he suddenly took the few words he had just written in his hand and fell apart.
This action made the students who paid attention to him exclaimed in their hearts, God, time is not enough, why should I tear up the written words?
There was a trace of pity on everyone's faces. It seemed that Gu Hai had accepted his fate and was about to give up. Originally, it would have been impossible to write 800 sheets in less than half a day.
Gu Hai then picked up the written words and looked at a few more. The slurs were crumpled four or five more. Then when everyone thought he should get up and leave, he spread the paper in front of him, straightened his body, and took it. I started writing again.
There was a low uproar in the school room.
The gentleman who had walked to the big case immediately gave a majestic benevolence, his eyes swept across the room, and the students immediately calmed down.
"You, let's talk about yesterday's class." The gentleman pointed to the student at the front and said.
The student shivered, and in response, he walked to the husband and began to repeat it. The voice of question and answer echoed in the school, and no one paid attention to Gu Hai who was writing on the side.
After explaining the last sentence, the husband stood up from the big case and glanced over the students who were excited because of the end of get out of class.
   "Go ahead," he said.
There was a ringing of tables and chairs in the school hall, and the students all left their desks, filed in front of the husband, and speeded up their steps to the school room after a respectful salute.
Soon only Gu Hai was left in the room. The slightly slanted sunlight spread the shadow of the pane on the ground. After writing the last stroke, Gu Hai sighed and put down the pen.
He stood up and sent a thick wad of words to his husband respectfully.
   "How much?" Mr. asked lightly.
"Three hundred sheets." Gu Hai replied respectfully.
Mr. didn't speak, he reached out his hand to take the words, and looked at them one by one. He looked at it carefully until he read them all.
   "Go ahead," he said.
Gu Hai, who had been standing quietly with his hands down, responded, Mr. Chong saluted him, and said, "Thank you, Mr. Chong, for your teaching. The students quit."
He simply packed his own utensils, his expression was calm, and his face was even a bit of joy, just like a student returning home from school.
"Hand in the remaining five hundred sheets tomorrow," the gentleman said.
Gu Hai who walked to the door had a pause, turned around in disbelief, and looked at Mr.
"There is a lack of dignity!" The gentleman was very uncomfortable with him, hummed, and walked past him.
Gu Hai stood at the door blankly, as if he hadn't understood the meaning of the sentence, until a stone fell on his head.
"Hey, Gu Gangtou, what do you miss here? It's okay, my brother will draw you a picture so that you will miss it when you hang it on the bedside in the future..." The three people led by the little-eyed boy laughed strangely.
Before he finished speaking, he listened to Gu Hai's cry. The rest of his words were scared, he choked in his throat, and then watched Gu Hai's jump up, waving his fist again, and running away.
"Is this kid going crazy because of his sadness?" The three of them stared at each other with big eyes.
Gu Hai's eye circles didn't turn red until he ran out of the school. He rubbed his eyes fiercely, then looked up and saw the little girl sitting on the side of the iron crane under the afterglow of the setting sun.
"Eighteen mothers." His voice was a little choked, and he strode over.
Gu Shiba Niang looked at the running boy, her heart suddenly calmed down.
"Brother." She stood up, and still did not speak, Gu Hai had already bent over and turned over in the basket at her feet, taking out the already crusty pancakes and gulping.
"I'm starving to death..." he said vaguely, and UU reading www.uukanshu.com smiled at Gu Shiba Niang.
Gu Shiba Niang only felt a hot and sour rush into her throat, her eyes could not help showing tears.
"Eat slowly, eat less, I have to have dinner when I go home..." She also smiled.
Gu Hai was stuck in his throat and coughed. Gu Shiba Niang slapped him on the back.
   "Should!" she smiled.
"Okay, you sister, you gloated at your brother!" Gu Hai said in a surprised expression.
Gu Shiba Niang raised her hand and punched him lightly. The siblings looked at each other and laughed again, tears shining in their smiles.
"Go home, mother is going to worry about it."
Gu Hai lowered his head to carry the basket, only to see a small bundle of firewood piled aside.
"Are you still getting firewood?" He said in surprise.
"Yes," Gu Shiba Niang had already carried the basket, smiled slightly, her face full of pride, "Do you think I can't?"
Gu Hai tightened his lips, bent over to wipe away the tears that had fallen, grabbed the firewood and threw it on his shoulders, hehe with a smile: "Yes, it's too little, not as good as the results of my two machetes..."
"Blow, just you, two machetes..." Gu Shiba Niang smiled.
"Ha, don't you believe me, I will show you how good your brother is..."
With the sound of talking and laughing, the iron crane with its wings spreading out quietly watched the two figures, one large and one small, slowly walking away, the night was pulled away, one day passed, and a new day was coming.
