Chapter 1529: Route dispute (1)

At the beginning of the establishment of "Huaxia Shuguang Power Group", it established the positioning of the product line focusing on gas turbines, and provided a complete set of product distribution with a wide range of power coverage, starting from 2.85MW, and the 4 standard products are: UGT2500, power 2.85MW, thermal efficiency 28.5%; UGT3000, power 3.36MW, thermal efficiency 31%; UGT6000, power 6.7MW, thermal efficiency 31.5%; UGT15000, power 17.5MW, thermal efficiency 35%.
These 4 products are all a full set of technical authorization and production technology directly imported from the "Dawn Design Bureau" of Wukelan. In terms of performance, they are not advanced and can barely compete with the standards of Western countries in the 1960s, but at this time For China, it is definitely filling the domestic gap. The most important thing is that from the process of producing these products, China can fully learn how to manufacture a gas turbine standard process flow, and establish a complete set of Domestic supply chain system.
At the same time, Huaxia Suguang and Wukelan Suguang have also reached a cooperation to jointly promote the development of next-generation gas turbines, including 4 products, namely 8MW, 10MW, 20MW and 27MW. The thermal efficiency of the new machines has generally increased to more than 35%. If it can be successfully completed, China's gas turbine technology level will be raised to the level of the United States and Britain in the 1980s!
Moreover, these four types of gas turbines actually have a very good foundation, because these are the R&D projects that the "Dawn Design Bureau" of Wuklan has started in 1986, and the R&D progress of individual models is even close. To complete, only the final production process optimization is one step away.
In a series of exchange agreements reached by the two
Dawns
, China will provide sufficient follow-up research and development funds, and Wukelan will need to disclose all the previous data without reservation, and jointly promote all follow-up research and development with China. During the process, the two parties share research results and can independently develop follow-up technologies and derivative models on these results. This is equivalent to Huaxia spending a small amount of money to buy all the accumulation of the other party for decades.
This is really an extremely cost-effective business!
Oh, yes, in addition to these three major projects in the aerospace industry, there is also an RD-8 liquid oxygen kerosene rocket engine in the aerospace industry, as well as some others listed in the top secret catalog that will be invited to drink. The tea project...
With such meritorious credit and truth, even Minister Zhang Jun and Zhang felt that if he did not hold a grand commendation meeting, and then sent a one-ton gold medal to Tan Er, it would not be enough to recognize his contribution!
In this regard, Tan Er once said shyly to Minister Zhang: "The commendation meeting or something is exempt, but is the one-ton gold medal, um, that, can it be discounted for gold bars..."
Just joking, let’s get back to business, the next step is to discuss the specific transformation of the scientific research results obtained. Today’s meeting was held for this purpose. The main topics are focused on two major projects related to the aviation industry-large aircraft. And aero engines.
When discussing the first issue, that is, the issue of aviation development, a situation that embarrassed Tan Zhenhua immediately emerged-a dispute over routes.
So, sometimes the most difficult thing is not to have no choice, but to choose too many choices.
Speaking of which, Tan Er is absolutely responsible for this matter.
With just one turbofan engine, through his hands, the aircraft that introduced a full set of technologies from Rolls-Royce has a number of military and civilian models of the "Speey" series, as well as an authorized production of the "Thai" series. He also invested in The model completely independently developed by the Gas Turbine Institute also has a military "turbofan 12", which is the specific model project of the "high-power pre-research" project that year. There is also a "turbofan 10" that he did not participate in. I got Ivchenko’s D36 series and D18T series, so many models, so many series, and different technical sources. At once, China was caught in a happy trouble-there was no suitable engine available. Now there are too many development directions, and it is difficult to choose for a while.
Even if the pure military afterburner model is left aside, only a large bypass ratio turbofan engine used in a transport aircraft will have overlapping thrust sections and divergence in technical routes. China’s most familiar turbofan is undoubtedly the "Speey" series. But for this series, the thrust stages of the in-production "MK606" and "Tai" obviously overlap. Now, in the same thrust stage, a three-rotor D36 is added!
Can't invest in development at the same time, right? This is too unrealistic. Even if Tan Er has money again, he shouldn't be so wasteful, and the accumulation of talents in the aviation development field of China is not enough to support such an extravagant development method.
There must be trade-offs.
Therefore, after a fierce debate, the parties finally reached a compromise on China's aviation development route.
First of all, military development and civilian development will be separated to a certain extent, and each will follow a different development path. This is also in line with the current international mainstream trend. Although on the whole, the two technologies have similarities, and even different engines. It may be derived from the same core machine, but the civilian development requires long service life, stability and reliability, environmentally friendly emissions, large bypass ratio without afterburner, low noise, high fuel economy, easy maintenance, etc.; while military development is more important High thrust-to-weight ratio, pursuit of various extreme working conditions, response sensitivity, etc., these are doomed, military development and civilian development will inevitably move on different development paths.
In terms of civil development, "MK606" was the only option for China to obtain 6-ton thrust turbofan engine technology under objective conditions. After it was put into production, it was also replacing the original engines of the "Trident" fleet with domestic engines and "BAC- Good benefits have been achieved in the installation of I" passenger aircraft, but this engine is too old after all, has a low bypass ratio, high fuel consumption, noise and emissions are gradually unable to meet the latest emission standards in Europe and the United States, and the "Trident The fleet is gradually withdrawing from China Civil Aviation. Although the "BAC-I" is still in production, with the advancement of the development of "C919" and "BAC-II", this type of aircraft will definitely withdraw from the market in the next few years. Then, it would be meaningless to develop this model again. It is the right choice to maintain the existing production line and gradually withdraw after the new model can be put into mass production.
As for the other development model of "Speey", "Tai", it is only an authorized production version. Huaxia itself does not have the right to develop this model, and its suitable aircraft model is only "BAC-I" that has not yet been put into mass production. , So it cannot be included in China’s main development direction in the future.
Excluding this, among the 6 to 8 ton thrust class aircraft that have already been obtained, the D36 series is the most suitable for the future development direction of China Civil Aviation.
In fact, this is exactly what Tan Zhenhua thought.
The D36 series has a bypass ratio of 5.6 and adopts the advanced system of three rotors. In his view, it represents the future development direction of civil large bypass ratio engines. There is also an enlarged version of the same system with a thrust of 25 tons. The D18-T, which has these two series, has covered two key thrust sections of civil aviation engines. As long as a 10-15 tons thrust engine can be supplemented, a complete three-rotor civil aviation engine series can be formed. At that time, China's civil aviation industry will be able to completely get rid of its dependence on the outside, and be sufficient, advanced and easy to use!
This will be a long-term issue that requires great efforts to tackle key problems. It is necessary to start with a thorough understanding of all the core technologies of these two types of aero-engines, and establish a new system that is different from all current aero-engine technical routes of China. The work was given to the Gas Turbine Institute for execution.
Big bypass ratio, three rotors, after setting these, the first battle of the route dispute has come to an end, what next, of course, continue to tear!
