Chapter 295

– To The West Barren
There was a rumor: A long time ago, but there once was a magnate that was a half step away from divinity that tried to fly his way out of the Ancestral Star and into the void. While on his way through the upper lightning zone, the strongest existence of his era had met with the Leize dragon god, an innate divine dragon that was born from the heaven and earth.
When the Leize dragon god appeared before him, worshipping chants rang in his ears. It was as if there were countless living beings worshipping the dragon. Then, a blinding blast of lightning that was accompanied by the deafening rumble of thunder ripped across the skies. The sky shattered like a mirror, and the magnate disappeared from the world; not even a single granule of his ashes was left behind.
As of now, although the Leize dragon gods that Zhong Yue met was not as otherworldly as the one in that legendary tale, they were also not as strong as half-divinity magnate who dared to defy the heavens.
A single strike from this lightning Leize dragon god could easily reap their lives!
However, what was different was that they had their own soul weapons and array formations that could barely protect them.
The 36 Pan Aos formed an array formation. The moon ring plunged into a full defensive state while their light wheels revolved rapidly. One after another, soul weapons lunged out from their secret realms and blasted on the dragon claw, trying to weaken its power.

With the inner core by my side, I am the master of my life!

36 Pan Aos … 108 eight heads. They all let out a ferocious roar and swallowed their inner core. The totem patterns of the Pan Ao emerged beneath their skin and flowed out of their body before coming together in a unified piece.
Countless totem patterns were connected together, forming into a huge Pan Ao phantom. The Pan Ao phantom that was standing at the center of the moon ring raised its head and opened its mouth widely. It looked as if it would devour the moon in the middle — this huge Pan Ao, the moon in the middle and the moon ring formed a complex defensive array formation – the Lunar Eclipse Array Formation!
While the Kui Long was also trembling in fear, he let out a ferocious roar and shrunk down quickly. Before this, he was 200 feet tall, and he was now only six to seven inch tall after turning into a little one-legged cow-like creature.
The Kui Long Celestial Race had mastered the Immortal Body, having their own unique defensive means. This Kui Long Celestial Race expert had shrunken his mortal body to strengthen his defense and condense his life force and life energy. It also served to reduce the area of contact between his body and the lightning. This was a unique defensive method that he applied to fight against the heaven’s punishment!
Zhong Yue reacted quickly by pulling the Kui Long’s cowhide, cloaking Qiu Jin’er and himself underneath it.
His Golden Crow Yuan Shen flew out from the Kui Long’s cowhide and dashed over to the Pan Aos. While at the same time, a golden ray flitted across the sky. It was the Golden Peng Sword closely following behind the heels of the Golden Crow Yuan Shen!
All of a sudden, the Golden Crow Yuan Shen entered the Golden Peng Sword and hid in it.
As the dragon claw slammed down, the 36 Pan Aos’ soul weapons were instantly crushed into dust; the 108 Pan Ao heads raised high and let out a series of high-pitched whistles, sustaining the Lunar Eclipse Array Formation in form.
One after another, the moons around the moon ring started crumbling away whereas the huge moon in the middle began cracking. Despite their power being the same as a Heavenly Dharma soul weapon, they couldn’t even fight against the dragon claw at all. The array formation shuddered violently, and all the 36 Pan Aos spurted out blood from their mouths.
The dragon claw was composed of the liquid condensed lightning. When it slammed down, the lightning liquid surged right through into the Lunar Eclipse Array Formation, tearing it down from the inside.
Pili pila pili pala
The huge moon in the center of the Lunar Eclipse Array Formation was broken into pieces, and the huge Pan Ao Tengu was also slowly fading away as the lightning struck on it.

【Celestial Moon Divine Howling】!

The hundred and eight Pan Ao heads raised highly and howled, stopping the fading of the Pan Ao Tengu image and made it clearer.
However, right at this moment, the Golden Feathery Peng Sword thrust over, the divine weapon flicked in the sky —Chi chi chi— one after another, the Pan Aos were beheaded, and their blood painted the lightning in a sanguine red.

Zhong Shan Clan member!

It was a deadly blow to the Pan Aos, tossing them into a state of utter disorder and chaos; they have lost their control over the Lunar Eclipse Array Formation and the array formation immediately crumbled away. The dragon claw slammed down, and all of the 36 Inner Core Xiao Mang experts were torn into pieces as they disintegrated into the smallest particles and filled the sky with a mist of blood.
From the Leize dragon god striking its claw down at them to the formation of the Lunar Eclipse Array, and the unexpected ambush of the Golden Peng Sword … everything happened in the blink of an eye.
The next moment, the unstoppable dragon claw harboring the divine aura slammed heavily on the Kui Long’s cowhide and the Golden Peng Sword along with the Kui Long expert!
From afar, one could clearly see a thousand miles long giant dragon coiling in the high sky, lashing its claw and slamming the presumptuous living beings that dared to infiltrate the high heavens.
Clouds and mist flitted past as the dragon claw slammed down on the ground from the high firmament. The dragon claw finally stopped as it rammed into the mountains, mercilessly killing any living thing in the woods as the lightning spread out in all domains.
Meanwhile, the shock wave in mid-air blasted away a thousand miles of land clear of any clouds, the Leize dragon god dispersed, and the sky was bright and clear, not a single cloud could be seen at all.
Below, in the mountains where the dragon claw slammed down, a huge claw mark was left behind. The earth structure was paved with igneous rocks while molten magma could be seen everywhere.
In the center of the claw mark, the two hundred feet Kui Long’s cowhide was laid on the ground. After a few moments, a girl crawled out from it; Qiu Jin’er who was shielded underneath Zhong Yue when they were struck made her way out and stood up, she uncloaked the Kui Long’s cowhide and dragged Zhong Yue out.
The dragon claw soon slammed down on them. Zhong Yue had her in his arms, while the Kui Long’s cowhide was on his back. He suffered incredibly heavy injuries from the impact force that penetrated through the Kui Long’s cowhide. But fortunately, the young lady in his arms was barely hurt, having only suffered some minor wounds.
As the one who endured the brunt of the impact force, Zhong Yue’s back was ravaged, and completely mashed. Broken ribs penetrated through his skin and were exposed to the air. His arms were distorted out of shape, and his neck was twisted at a terrifying angle.
If it were ordinary humans or even the cultivated Qi Practitioners, they would have certainly died by now. But he was still living, the deflated lungs were still breathing, but he sounded as if he was going to run out of breath at anytime soon.
However, the liquid lightning had left his psyche ocean in an utterly chaotic state. He couldn’t control his power to recuperate his injuries.
Qiu Jin’er quickly took out the Yuling Pastes and just as she was going to treat him with the medicinal paste, a deep groan suddenly rang in their ears.
There was another survivor other than themselves, one who was incredibly small. He was only six to seven inches tall before he suddenly expanded and returned to what it seemed like his normal size — it was none other than the Kui Long expert!
His mortal body was even more ragged than Zhong Yue’s, the lightning strikes crushed the originally muscular body into mashed meat. His bones were totally wrecked and were mixed in the meat. The cow horn on his head was broken away, and only his spine and head still looked fine.
Despite the injuries he suffered, his life energy and life force were still vigorous, his mortal body was slowly and yet, steadily recuperating itself. Broken bones were reconnecting together, and the mashed flesh was forming back into its usual muscular form.

Junior martial sister, kill him.
Exerting what’s leftover in him, Zhong Yue said feebly.
Qiu Jin’er was shocked, she looked over at the Kui Long expert and met with a pair of tearful eyes which were begging for her mercy, pleading her to spare his life.
Hesitation lingered in her heart, but she gritted her teeth and walked over to the Kui Long’s side with Zhong Yue’s Golden Peng Sword in hand.

No … please…..
the Kui Long expert’s voice was weak and feeble.
But it did not change a thing at all as Qiu Jin’er hardened her emotions and thrust the sword through his head.

I’m sorry, don’t blame me for your death … my senior martial brother needs my help, and it’s my turn to protect him now. If you are not taken out, then it will be us that will die in your hands after you recover from your injuries. I will not risk my senior martial brother’s life….

Qiu Jin’er gritted her teeth and mumbled bitterly to the dead. She pulled out the Golden Peng Sword, and the lifeless Kui Long expert fell to the ground. His spirit emerged above the dead body and dispersed into thin air.
Qiu Jin’er quickly darted back to Zhong Yue and found him fainted. The young girl immediately removed all of his clothes, and a completely naked Zhong Yue was presented before her eyes.
She looked at his body, and her beautiful countenance blushed red as she furtively peeped at his private part. She regained her thoughts and quickly applied the Yuling Paste all over his body. Zhong Yue’s injuries were too heavy, but thankfully, Qiu Jin’er brought a substantial amount of Yuling Paste that was more than enough to cover every part of her senior martial brother’s body. Even his nether regions were covered with the Yuling Paste.
Her act of covering his privates with the Yuling Paste was a way of covering up distractions. After she did so, her thoughts were no longer distracted. She then checked on Zhong Yue’s injuries, her psyche in his body and helped him in remedying his disordered arcane energy. After a long time, she finally heaved a breath of relief as Zhong Yue’s breathing became even and his psyche had also calmed down.
We shouldn’t stay here any longer. Since senior martial brother’s injuries are not worsening anymore, we should leave now!
The young girl was decisive, she took out the wooden wheelchair she kept in her secret realm when the Leize dragon god struck at them, and she then placed Zhong Yue in it.
When she was about to leave, she saw the collections of the Kui Long expert in the corner of her eyes. The items were spreading across the ground as the Yuan Shen secret realms that contained them collapsed along with the death of their master. They were mostly medicinal pellets and the materials for the crafting soul weapons.
She surged her psyche out and kept everything away into her own Yuan Shen secret realms. Among them, there was one treasure that attracted her attention. It was an exquisite woodcarving of a one-foot-four-tall Kui Long; however, she didn’t know what use it has, and so, she threw it into her secret realms along with the others.
Qiu Jin’er thought in her heart, Flying in the sky is too noticeable, traveling underground… although I know a few earth-style arts, I’m no master in this field. The movements are too obvious, and the other celestials who are proficient can track us down easily. This is doubly so for some of the celestial race in West Barren …. Airborne and underground are both not an option, so walking is my only option, but it’ll be too slow, with such a speed, they can catch up to us in no time….
She was troubled and thought, If it’s senior martial brother, what will he do?
All of a sudden, her eyes brightened up, and a vine rose beneath her feet, it grew larger and larger, lifting her and Zhong Yue who was in the wheelchair up
The vine turned into a treant, and it strode forward, heading toward the west.
At the same time, an immense force of Wood Qi billowed out from Qiu Jin’er, wherever she goes, hundreds of miles of land would be paved with grasses and trees, changing the terrain and environment.
However, after a few moments, the greenage would disappear away as if they weren’t there in the first place.
If they track us by our smells, then they will have some really annoying experience finding us.
Qiu Jin’er thought, Going straight to the Great Wilderness is definitely not going to work as there will be ambushes waiting for us on the way, we have to take a detour. But if even senior martial sister said that we couldn’t go to the West Barren, then the others would think so too. Then, in that case, I’ll act as contrary to all of their expectations, we will take a detour to the West Barren!
