Lu Li immediately urged everyone to take a break. Remnant Dream also began looting the body as soon as she was done regenerating. There was a Strengthening Stone, a Hunter Skill Book and a rare leather material. Although it wasn’t a strong Boss, they still received something.
Lu Li obviously didn’t want Halycon’s Gold leather boots, but they were still given to him so he could sell them for money.
Pads of the Dread Wolf was a Dark Gold Chain Mail Armour Bracer. It was a decent item and was part of a mini-set. If you could find another Warg item, then you could gain the special effect of transforming into a Warg. There were many ordinary players that enjoyed using these two items as they weren’t as expensive as Epic items.
Remnant Dream accepted this equip.
Next was the Halycon Collar, a Dark Gold necklace and an exquisite item. If it wasn’t for the fact that it was the First Clear, the probability of it dropping was about 1/100. This Collar could be used by a Shaman or a Hunter, so it was given to Sakura Memories.
Just as they had finished assigning the items, a shadow suddenly rushed in and ran straight towards Kitty Likes Meat, who was the closest player.
Hey!
There was loud smack as Kitty Likes Meat was knocked down. It wasn’t much damage, but it seemed to satisfy the figure, who then turned to Lu Li.
Gale Steps!
After all this, if Azure Sea Breeze still hadn’t reacted to pull the monster, Lu Li would have thought that he was asleep.
When Azure Sea Breeze finally pulled it, everyone discovered that it was a larger silver Warg that looked sad and embarrassed. It was as if his wife and child were dead on the floor.
Well, that actually was the case. Halcyon and the summoned Wargs were actually his wife and children.
In the Blackrock Spire, there were few players who had seen the unpredictable Gizrul.
He usually only appeared from his dark nest when he was summoned by Halycon. These two monsters had produced a significant number of ferocious Wargs, which was recorded in Orc history.
Gizrul was not nearly as easy to deal with as his wife.
First of all, his slash damage was among the top three of the currently known Bosses. If the Main Tank was not strong enough or the Healers couldn’t provide enough support, they would simply be overpowered.
Assuming that the healers and Main Tank met these requirements, there was still the phantom image to consider.
Unlike the kind of avatars that Lu Li once had, Gizrul could produce three, each with the same attack and defence as his main body. All the players could do in these situations was hope to survive.
If you wanted to defeat Gizrul without suffering any casualties, you would have to wait until you were at level 60.
Dammit, why is it like this?
Azure Sea Breeze cursed upon suddenly finding that the monster he was tanking had suddenly split into four. He was stuck in a dilemma; should he taunt or not?
He didn’t know if all four of them were equally strong, but he probably wasn’t able to tank them if they were. With his experience and battle instinct, he quickly made a decision to taunt one and randomly pick another two. As such, he was pulling a total of two characters.
Wandering wasn’t slow to react either. He suddenly kicked into action and tried to help cover for Azure Sea Breeze.
Lu Li took the remaining one. He knew that he couldn’t hold it for long, but no one else could do it if he didn’t. If one of them rushed into his Magic Profession teammates, they would die within a second.
However, Lu Li still overestimated his strength.
Or rather, he underestimated the Boss’ strength before he got nerfed. He had forgotten that this was the Boss that would randomly appear and torment the players.
Lu Li wanted to test this Boss, so he only cast one of his damage reduction skills and was instantly killed. Azure Sea Breeze and Wandering were already barely holding on, so they couldn’t stop the last one from tearing through their team.
After they got wiped, Gizrul didn’t vanish. Although he was summoned, he now replaced his wife to become the Boss of this Warg Cave. If they couldn’t defeat him, they would be stuck in this part of the Instance Dungeon.
Lu Li could only vaguely explain to his teammates that this splitting skill didn’t last that long.
When they got back to the Warg Cave, Lu Li made everyone’s roles clear. First of all, the two healers would first focus on Azure Sea Breeze. After all, he had to resist two Bosses with life-threatening critical attacks. Then, they needed to remember Wandering before finally worrying about Lu Li.
If anyone could find a solution, it would Lu Li and his team. Lu Li’s plan was quite simple. He couldn’t tank the Boss, but they had several escape and invincibility skills. The only problem was that one misstep would mean instant death.
He instructed the three Mages – Lonesome Flower, Fat Monkey and Nuo Yu – to stand in the three corners of the room and take turns pulling the Boss. When the Boss got close, they would use Ice Block to become invincible.
If they couldn’t remove the aggro that way, then Lu Li would go in and attack it.
Lu Li had never felt like 10 seconds was a long time, but after the three Mages had dragged the Boss around for 5-6 seconds, the last 3-4 seconds felt like a year. He didn’t dare to use any of his escape skills as he was afraid that the Boss would just attack the nearest target.
His Ring’s effects, Gale Steps and Felstriker’s special effects were only to be used as a last resort.
Special Effect 3: Phantom Shift. Six phantoms that last for three seconds appear randomly. The caster can choose one of them to swap positions with. 2 hour cooldown.
The Boss obviously wasn’t fooled by this trick and directly attacked Lu Li’s real body.
However, Lu Li could still swap positions. The moment that the attack was about to land, he swapped with a phantom’s position. After the phantom was destroyed, the Boss gave up on the slippery Lu Li and turned to attack Mu Qiu, who was the closest player.
Lu Li wasn’t worried at all. In the time that the Boss had left, it wouldn’t even have a chance to attack Mu Qiu.
All the phantoms had now vanished, which meant that they had survived the most difficult phase. Although it would use this skill two more times before it died, their experience after the first meant that it was no longer overwhelming. Even though there were a few more close moments, they didn’t get wiped in the process.
