Chapter 21: Fate Night

The door of the bar was suddenly violently broken open, and a team of guards with live ammunition filed in and immediately dispersed from both sides. Two groups of people in the bar were forcibly separated by the dazzling muzzle. Then a man in a tuxedo with a sallow face and a delicate beard and white gloves walked in. He looked around and said solemnly: "What's going on."
"Mr. Smith, it's obvious that Fat Lusen is causing trouble." Lucy blinked, and then whispered in Allen's ear: "This is Smith, the security chief of the building, a man with a serious cleanliness. Like Lusen. This kind of fat and stupid guy is the type he hates most."
Allen said "Oh", watching the change.
Smith looked at the two of them, and his eyes first fell on the blonde girl and said: "Miss Lucy, have we met more often recently?"
Then it fell on Allen, nodded and said: "Mr. Allen, you go first, I will deal with it here."
Alan was a little surprised, they even believed Lucy without asking. Lucy pulled his sleeve, and the two hurriedly left the bar. There was a roar of Lucen killing a pig in the bar, and Lucy's green eyes were almost narrowed into crescents, full of smiles.
"They trust you very much." Allen said.
Lucy laughed and slapped Allen on the back and said: "Don't be silly, all corners of this building are under their surveillance. Do you think they don't know Lucen's trick?"
"If so, why..." Allen frowned, thinking that people like Smith deliberately let this happen.
"You are too naive. The people in Smith are very clear about what is happening in the building. They don't care about competition or even friction between players, as long as they don't kill people. On the contrary, they will all record our performances. Some kind of basis for reference."
Allen remembered at this moment that when he finished his reaction training, there were indeed a few people outside the training area recording something with his brain.
"Hey, don't worry about that fat pig." Lucy hit him and said, "You owe me personal love, how about it, then consider being my subordinate."
Allen is a child after all, and bravely said: "Even if you don't show up, I can settle that guy. As for the subordinates..."
Seeing him smiling but not smiling, Lucy's expression straddled: "No, you are the answer again."
"I said, I don't like being a subordinate. But we can be friends... My name is Allen."
Seeing Alan stretch out her hand, Lucy sighed: "Well, friends are friends."
"Lucy!" The girl held Alan in one hand and reported her name. Looking at Ellen's injured arm, she unfastened the ponytail's hair tie. When the blonde hair loosened and fell loose. It was like a golden wave rolling by, and in that moment, it was like the scorching sun rising, and the light carried by the girl's body was so brilliant that it could not be added.
For a moment, Allen stared blankly.
He didn't come back to his senses until his hands were wrapped in silk ribbons. Lucy tied a cute bow on his arm, then waved her hand: "I'm leaving, remember to wash it and return it to me. Friend."
"Where can I find you?"
"Here, or, go to the 17th floor to find me." Alan was left with a sunny smile, and the girl walked away.
The sun shines straight through the heart, as if the cold and dim depths of the soul have also dispersed a lot of this light.
In the bar, Lucerne and several teenagers were taken away. Kurd, who was seriously injured, was taken directly to the treatment. Smith was standing in a corner of the bar. On the floor under his feet, a few drops of blood were bright red. Smith squatted down and slid a test tube out of his sleeve. He took a handkerchief out of his shirt and wiped it on the floor, then stuffed the blood-stained handkerchief into the test tube.
With a trembling of his hand, the test tube slid back into his sleeve, and the security supervisor stood up as if he was okay, and left quietly.
After returning to his office, Smith called a confidant. He took the test tube out and put it on the table gently and said, "Go and give this to Mr. Haising, the housekeeper of Bethkode, and tell him that this is what he needs."
The confidant nodded, put the test tube in his pocket, and left quietly.
That night, Smith's confidant walked into a hotel, opened a room, and put the test tube in the private safe of the room. He left immediately after doing all this, and after 10 minutes, the room was opened. A man in a felt hat and black long coat walked in. He seemed to have known the password of the safe early in the morning, and after quickly opening it, he took out the test tube inside and put it into a suitcase.
Carrying the box to the lobby, he handed the box to the lobby manager and said in a low voice: "I will send the sample inside for a genetic comparison. The target of the comparison is Master Horn."
"I see, sir." The manager nodded.
The night is very deep. Looking up on the floating island, the moon with the sky hanging in the distant sky looks much larger. On Babylon, you can even see the magnificent mountains on the moon. Moonlight casts on this floating island, but it is dispelled by other lights of various colors. The city of Babylon was brightly lit, and there were singing and laughing everywhere. Floating islands are always so lively and prosperous, and the dilapidated and lonely surface are almost like two worlds.
When the man in black walked out of the quiet street where the hotel was located, he ran into two drunk men head-on. The man in black stepped aside cautiously, and the two men raised the bottle to him and said, "Are you here for a bite, sir?"
"No, thank you." The man in black turned and left, and the noisy voices of two drunks still sounded behind him. And he himself quickly integrated into the bustling streets with people coming and going. In the distance, I don't know which tavern sounded the exciting "Song of the Great Age". Many people should sing in unison with the song, but no one knows that it is in this seemingly ordinary night. In the song of the world's destiny, another low melody is quietly inserted.
Just as Smith received a new secret remittance of long numbers for his account, Allen opened one of the books Hughton gave him in his bedroom. The pages of this "Biographies of Famous Generals" have turned yellow, and the paper has become more worn, and it seems to have been turned over by Hughton many times.
Turning over the cover, there is only one sentence on the front cover: The result is always more important than the process, and victory is always glorious than failure. As long as you win, who cares whether you use shameless means in the process. The important thing is that you can survive and live to the end!
This book almost contains the great battles experienced by the famous generals of all generations since the founding of the Earth Federation. It is with the accumulation of these battles that the life of mankind is now available. Only a few of the battles recorded in the book took place on the earth, and the others took place during the expeditions in the Outland. The generals who have presided over these battles are resourceful and brave, and there are no shortage of people who are both wise and brave.
But no matter what type of famous generals, their battles can basically be summarized in four words: soldiers never tire of fraud.
As one of the generals said: "A wise general will do everything possible to launch an offensive from the enemy's rear or flank. As for those who clamor for a frontal fight to the death, there are only two kinds of people. One is to have an absolute advantage. People who plan to add a military medal to themselves. The other is the arrogant and ignorant fool. The former has obvious advantages and pretends to be generous. The latter is stupid and unattainable. Such people have long been under the wheel of the times. Was crushed into ashes!"
I have to say that some of the battles in the book are so conspiracy and conspiracy that Alan's back feels a bit chilly. At the end of some of these battles, there are Hughton's notes, which point to the lower limit of shamelessness. At the end of the book, the words of Osarit, a famous federal generation, are the closing words.
Perhaps, some of our actions will leave behind infamy. But those who scold us, please don't forget, if there is no such thing as what we have done. Maybe you don't even have a chance to scold you. War has never been in the name of justice!
Seeing these words, Allen's little mind was shocked again.
When I closed the book~EbookFREE.me~ Tonisev came. Allen came to the hall and saw the ensign commanding several soldiers to carry in boxes of things. Allen walked over, looked at the box and said, "What are these?"
"These are some good things." Tonisf happily opened the seal of one of the boxes, and then opened the box. There were two neat rows of fruits inside. They are red and plain, with drops of water dripping on the surface of the fruit leaves, just like the ones just picked from the tree.
Alan's eyes lit up and he hesitated: "Is this... an apple?"
On the surface, although the environment is beginning to recover, there is still some time before the fruits and vegetables are grown. Alan once ate an apple, which was a smuggled product Lanni bought from a black merchant. He still remembered that it didn't seem to have much water, but there was still a bit of sweet and sour fruit after the bite. It is a delicacy that he will still taste in a few years.
Seeing so much now, Allen couldn't react to it. However, if you look closely, there seems to be a little difference between these fruits and apples. Its skin and leaves are thinner, as if you can see the vivid flesh inside.
"This is not an apple." Tonisf took one out of the box and stuffed it to Allen: "Try it, they are absolutely delicious."
Allen took a bite when the peel and pulp entered his mouth. They almost melted in their mouths, turning into a clear and sweet fruit syrup, flowing down the esophagus into Allen's body. Allen suddenly felt that the source force in his body was trembling slightly, and there seemed to be some resonance between them and this strange fruit.
"Huh, Fireberry. Tonisf, when did your kid become so generous." Hughton, who was drunk on the table, said suddenly.
Tonysf's face with glamorous eyeshadow seemed to glow, and he smiled and said, "Because these are rewards for my baby Ellen!"
