Vol 2 Chapter 826: Prefect

"Anyway, as long as it's not Snape Down, I have no objection." Ron said indifferently. "But, to make matters worse, aren't we going to take the ordinary wizard rank exam this semester? I can't imagine what my mother will look like at that time.
Ron looked a little frustrated. The ordinary wizard rank exam is the most important exam in the entire magic career. If you fail...
Well, there will always be qualified in so many subjects, but the assessment of different grades also means different improvement classes, for example, the improvement class of Professor McGonagall is much better than the improvement class of another professor. This is a recognized thing.
"In other words, normally speaking, this time period should be the time to re-select the prefect, but... Ron, you are sure that's the only one..."
"Prefect?"
Harry suddenly realized that he couldn't believe it. Now they have reached the stage of selecting prefects. They are already in the fifth grade.
Ron's expression is a bit weird, in his list...
"What's wrong, Ron?" Fred asked. He walked over, and Ron tremblingly pulled his hand out of the envelope...
"Premier?" Fred said, staring at the letter in disbelief.
"Premier?" George rushed forward, grabbing the envelope from Ron's other hand and turning it upside down. Harry saw a red and gold object falling into George's palm.
"Unbelievable," George whispered.
"They must be mistaken," Fred grabbed the envelope and pointed it at the light as if checking the watermark inside. "No sane person would let Ron be the prefect."
The twin brothers shook their heads together and looked at Harry.
"We think you must be!" Fred's tone seemed as if Ha had tricked him in some way.
"We think Dumbledore will definitely choose you!" George also said angrily. "You won the Goblet of Fire and everything else!" Fred said.
"I imagined that all the crazy ideas didn't count it," George said to Fred. "Yes," Fred said slowly, "Yes, you have caused too much trouble, buddy. Well, at least one of you has got priority."
He strode towards Harry and patted him on the back, while giving Ron a stern look.
"Premier Ron Jr. became the prefect."
"Oh, mom is going crazy," George groaned. He threw the prefect badge back to Ron as if his hands would get dirty. Ron still didn't say a word. He took the badge and stared for a while, then threw it to Harry, as if silently asking Harry to confirm its authenticity.
Harry took the badge. A large "g" letter appeared on top of the Gryffindor hero logo. When Harry had just entered Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he had seen such a badge on Percy's chest.
Just when Harry was stunned, the door was opened with a bang. Hermione rushed in happily, holding a dazzling badge in her hand. For a moment, Harry felt a little...
"You—you got—?" She looked at the badge in Harry's hand, and then paused, but Hermione soon became happy.
"I see!" she said excitedly, waving the envelope on her hand, "Me too, Harry, and me too!"
"No," Harry said quickly, slipping the badge back into Ron's hand, "It was Ron who got the badge, not me."
"It's—what?" Hermione was taken aback for a moment. "You mean, Ron?"
When Ron stared at her challengingly, Hermione's face turned red.
"The letter says my name," Ron said.
"I" said Hermione, she looked completely confused.
"Me too! Good job, Ron! That's true—"
"Unexpectedly," George nodded and said.
"I thought...this is also good, Ron and he..."
"So, what do you want to say?" Ron said slightly lowly.
"Oh, no, I mean... I mean congratulations." Hermione nodded.
The door behind Hermione opened wider, and Mrs. Weasley walked into the room with a stack of newly cleaned robes.
"Ginny said the book list just arrived," she looked at all the envelopes and then went to the bed and started to divide the robes into two piles. "You give me the list of books, and I can give them to Mr. Degan Alan in the afternoon, so that you can get the books when you leave. Ron, I will have to prepare larger pajamas for you. These are at least an inch shorter. I can’t believe you grow so fast. What color do you like?"
"Buy him red and yellow badges that match him," George said with a smirk.
"What is it for him?" Mrs. Weasley said absently as she folded a pair of socks and placed them in Ron's pile.
"His badge," Frye said quickly, prepared for the worst. "His shiny and beautiful new badge."
It took a moment for Fred's words to reach Mrs. Weasley, who was busy folding her pajamas.
"His. Wait Ron, wouldn't you be?" Ron raised his badge. Mrs. Weasley screamed like Hermione.
"I can't believe it! I can't believe it! Oh, Ron, that's great! Prefect! Everyone in this family is!"
"Then what are Fred and I, the neighbor next door?" George exclaimed angrily.
But Mrs. Weasley pushed him away and hugged her youngest son tightly.
"Waiting to tell you Dad! Ron, I am proud of you. What an exciting news. You will graduate with honors like Bill and Percy. This is the first step! Oh, here. What a wonderful thing happened amidst all the troubles, I was shaking with excitement, oh, Ron—"
Both Fred and George were nauseous behind Mrs. Weasley's back, but Mrs. Weasley didn't notice; her arms tightly hugged Ron’s neck and kissed Ron’s face everywhere. En's face is now redder than his badge.
"Mom, don't be like this, Mom, you're holding it too tightly" he complained as he tried to push Mrs. Weasley away.
Mrs. Weasley let go of Ron and said out of breath: "Okay, then what do you want? We gave Percy an owl. Of course, you already have one."
"What...what do you mean?" Ron seemed to be unable to believe his ears.
"You will get a reward for this!" Mrs. Weasley said happily, "How about a beautiful new robe?"
"We have bought some for him," Fred said grimly, and he seemed to really regret his generosity at the time.
"Or a new gas pot, Charlie's old gas pot is all rusted, or a new mouse, you always like Scabbers—"
"Mom," Ron said hopefully, "Can I get a new broom?"
Mrs. Weasley's face sank slightly; broomsticks are very expensive~EbookFREE.me~ not really advanced ones! "Ron added hesitatingly, "It's just—just a little bit newer than before."
Mrs. Weasley hesitated, then laughed.
"Of course it can be fine. If I want to buy a new broom, I'd better leave now. See you Ronnie later, a prefect! And don’t forget to pack your suitcase and a prefect. Oh, my whole body is shaking!"
She kissed Ron again on the cheek, took a hard breath, and hurriedly left the room.
Fred and George exchanged glances. "You wouldn't mind if we didn't kiss you, would you, Ron?"
George said in an artificial, eager voice. "If you like it, we curtsey to you," George said.
"Oh, shut up," Ron glared at them.
"How about it?" Fred said, a wicked smile appeared on his face, "Shall we confine us?"
"I would be happy to let him try," George said with a chuckle.
"If you were not careful, he would really do it!" Hermione said angrily. Fred and George burst into laughter, and Ron grumbled, "Stop talking, Hermione."
"George, we must be careful," Fred said pretending to be scared. "The two guys are staring at us..."
"Yes, it seems that our time for evil is over," George said, shaking his head. Then with a loud noise, the twin brothers disappeared.
"Those two guys!" Hermione looked up and stared at the ceiling angrily. They could now hear Fred and Chi laughing loudly in the room upstairs.
"Ignore them, Ron, they are just jealous!"
