Vol 2 Chapter 843: Umbridge's Defense Against the Dark Arts

"Can you read?"
This joke seems to be very funny, anyway, Malfoy laughed forward and backward, and Fanlin couldn't help but snorted.
"Yes, I will," Harry said, his fingers grasping his wand firmly.
"Read line 3 of the material, Potter."
"Add moonstone powder, turn it counterclockwise 3 times, slowly cook for seven minutes, then add two teaspoons of Eterna radiata juice."
Harry's heart sank sharply. He didn't add the Emerald Juice, but when he boiled it for seven minutes, he started adding the ingredients in row 4.
"Have you done everything on line 3, Potter?"
"No," Harry said calmly. Snape was like that. Even if he said every time, there was a reason. Even if he didn't, he could find it, not to mention this was Snape's best potion.
"Can you repeat it again?"
"No," Harry said, louder. "I didn't add winter sunflower juice."
"I know you added it, Potter, which means this potion is completely scrapped."
With a puff, Harry's list of potions disappeared; he stood foolishly behind the empty large pot.
"You must read the instructions carefully, fill a flask with your medicine, write your name on the label, and put it down on my table for testing,"
Snape said slowly, "Homework: 2-inch parchment paper about the properties of moonstone and its role in medicine, due on Thursday."
When everyone was filling the hip flask, Harry cleaned his things and he was angry. In fact, his potion is not worse than Ron's. Ron is pouring out some bad smelly eggs, or Neville's. Neville is finishing the cement just mixed and digging out his atmospheric pot; however He, Harry, will get zero points today.
He put his wand into his school bag and sat on a chair, watching everyone and the jugs on Snape's table. When the bell rang, Harry was the first to rush out of the classroom and start his lunch on time.
The ceiling turned darker gray than in the morning. Raindrops whipped the windows.
"It's really unfair," Hermione said comfortingly, sitting on Harry's left and eating lamb pie. "Your potion is no worse than Gore's. The whole thing broke when he put the potion in the jug, and his dress was on fire."
"Ah, yeah," Harry said, glaring at his plate. "Snape never treated me fairly."
No one else answered. All of them knew that the hostility between Snape and Harry had started since Harry came to Hogwarts.
"I think he might be better this year," Hermione said disappointedly. "I mean, you know."
She looked around very carefully; there were half a dozen empty seats beside them when no one passed by the table.
"Now he is a member of the Phoenix Order."
"However, this doesn't change their way of getting along," Ron said with rare reason. "Anyway, I always think Dumbledore won't believe Snape. What evidence can prove that he no longer works for the mysterious man?"
"I think Dumbledore has enough evidence, even though he doesn't let you know, Ron." Fanlin said harshly.
"You are just defending Snape because he taught you."
"Van Lin is just telling the truth," Hermione said. "Dumbledore must have his reasons for doing this."
"Enough, you guys."
Both Hermione and Ron froze and looked at each other angrily.
"Can't you guys take a break?" Harry said, "You two always have something to quarrel, and I'm going crazy! And you, Fanlin, why would you join in?"
Then Harry dropped his lamb pie, picked up his schoolbag and dropped them to sit there. He walked up the marble staircase in three steps and two, passing many students who went to lunch.
He was still very angry, Ron and Hermione's constant quarrel made him very angry, this time even involving Fanlin in, and Harry felt that he was really unlucky today.
Regardless of them, he thought, why can't they stop for a while. Quarreling constantly. This is enough for anyone to hit the wall.
As he passed a large portrait of Mr. Cademas, Mr. Cademas drew his sword and waved it fiercely at Harry, who ignored him.
"Come back, you mean dog! Stop and fight with me!" Mr. Cademas yelled from behind the armor in a low voice, but Harry just walked, when Mr. Cademas tried to run to a nearby one. When following him in the second painting, he was stopped by the residents of this painting—a huge, angry-looking hound.
Harry sat alone under the trapdoor of the North Tower the rest of the time. As a result, when the bell rang, he was the first person to climb the silver ladder to reach Professor Trauni's classroom.
After the pharmacy class, the divination class was Harry's least favorite class, probably because Professor Trauni always predicted his death in class. But the re-selection of classes will not be implemented soon, anyway, Harry intends to remove the fortune-telling class from his list.
A thin woman, heavy curtains and scarves, and gorgeous necklaces, she always reminded Harry of some mean people, and glasses made her eyes look big.
When Harry came in, she was sorting books on the small table in her room, but the light was too dim, so she didn't notice him sitting in the shadows.
It took 5 minutes for the whole class to arrive. When Ron appeared at the trapdoor, he looked around carefully and saw Harry walking straight toward him.
"We stopped arguing," Ron said carefully, and sat down beside Harry.
"Okay," Harry murmured. "But she said she thought it would be better if you stopped angering us," Ron said. "I do not have-"
"I just spread the word," Ron said. "But I think she is right. It is not our fault how Seamus and Snape treat you."
"I didn't say it—"
"It's a good day," Professor Trauni said in her usual dim, sleepy voice, and Harry was bored and somewhat ashamed.
"Welcome back to the divination class. I have, of course, looking at your future during the holidays. I am very pleased to see you all safely returned to Hogwarts. Of course, I know you will."
"You will find the book "Dream Prophecy" on the table. The interpretation of dreams is very important in the future, and it is required in the ordinary wizard rank examination. Of course, the passing and failure of the ordinary wizard rank examination is in the divination It is not important to go up. If you have a discerning eye, certificates and grades are not so important. Of course, the principal wants you to pass the exam, so..."
Her voice slowly disappeared, and Professor Trauni thought that the ordinary wizard rank test was not important in her class, so she didn't want to mention it.
"Turn the page, turn to the entry here, and see what the dream prophecy means. Then form a group and explain the meaning of each other's dream according to the book. Now start."
The only advantage of this lesson is that there is nothing to do. When they finished the introductory part of the book, they only had less than 10 minutes left to discuss the meaning of dreams.
Next to Harry and Ron’s table, Dean is with Neville. Neville is telling him about a nightmare, wearing his grandmother’s best hat on a huge pair of scissors; Harry and Ron just watched gloomily Look at each other.
"I never remember my dreams," Ron said, "you say one."
"You have to say one," Harry said impatiently. He didn't want to tell anyone about his dreams. He knew very well that he often dreamed of what the cemetery meant. He didn't need Ron or Professor Traoni or the stupid "Dream Prophecy" to tell him.
"Well, I dreamt that I was playing Quidditch one night," Ron said, turning his head to remember. "Guess what this means?"
"It is very likely that you will be eaten by a hollyhock or something," Harry said, flipping through the book uninterestedly.
Watching those dreams in "Dream Prophecy" is really boring, and the assignments left by Professor Trauni for them are even more boring-record the dreams you have had this month.
When the bell rang, Harry and Ron began to descend the ladder, and Ron complained loudly.
"Do you know how much of our homework? Binns wants us to write a one-and-a-half foot essay about the giants war, Snape is a foot about the use of moonstones, and now Trauni wants us to record what we do next month Dream! Fred and George were very right to say that this year was difficult. The woman from the Ministry of Magic had better not leave us anything..."
"I advise you not to discuss her here, Ron, have you forgotten Professor McGonagall's behavior in our first transformation class? This woman is better than Professor McGonagall..." Fanlin said halfway, then paused. pause.
Think about Umbridge and then think about the interesting Professor McGonagall, "the two are not comparable."
"She's just...oh, forget it." Ron said frustratedly. "How about you two, fortune telling?"
"Much better, compared to Professor Trauni, at least there are things to follow." Fanlin said.
If it were not for Hermione, he would have given up all these lessons.
When they walked into the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, they found that Professor Umbridge was already sitting in the teacher's chair, wearing a fluffy pink Cardigan cardigan and wearing a velvet hat.
It really reminds me of some nasty guys when I see her.
It was quiet when I entered the classroom; Professor Umbridge, who seemed ignorant but very strict, made people wonder what she was going to do.
"Good afternoon!" she said, when the whole class was gathered and sat down. Some people answered by saying ‘good afternoon’.
"Tsk tut," Professor Umbridge said. "It doesn't work, right? I hope you say it again, please, repeat ‘good afternoon, Professor Umbridge’ once. Then, good afternoon..."
"Good afternoon, Professor Umbridge." They said together.
"Here, now," Professor Umbrich said sweetly. "Look, it's not too difficult. Take the wand, and take out the quill."
Most students exchanged eyes sadly. The command ‘take the wand’ has never been heard in any class.
Everyone put their wands back into their school bags and took out quill pens, ink, and parchment.
Professor Umbridge opened her handbag and took out her magic wand. Her wand was very short. Then he poked the blackboard with it; some words appeared on the blackboard: Defense against Black Magic Review Principles.
"Well, now, based on what I know before, your course has always been broken and incomplete, right?" Professor Umbridge said politely. Turn his face to the classroom. "Change teachers frequently and have not taken courses approved by the Ministry of Magic. The unfortunate result is that your grades are much lower than the grades required in the ordinary wizard rank exam."
"You will be happy to know, however, these problems will now be resolved. This year we will have the correct, central, and defensive magic approved by the Ministry of Magic. Please copy these down."
1. Understand the principles of defensive magic. 2. Learn to discern which defensive magic should be used in which situation. 3. Learn the defensive magic used in real life.
Three big headlines appeared on the blackboard, and for a while, the classroom was filled with the sound of writing something on parchment with a quill pen.
When everyone had copied the 3 course objectives of Professor Umbridge, she asked: "Does each of you have a book "Principles of Defense Magic"?"
There was a low voice of approval in the classroom.
"I think we should try again," Professor Umbrich said. "When I ask you a question, I want you to answer'Yes, Professor Umbridge', or'No, Professor Umbridge'. So, does each of us have a book on "Principles of Defense Magic" ?"
"Yes, Professor Umbridge." This voice echoed in the classroom.
"Good," Professor Umbridge said. "Please turn to page 5 and see'Chapter, Basic Principles for Beginners.' Don't make any noise."
Professor Umbridge left the blackboard and sat down in the chair. Start paying attention to each of them. Harry turned his "Principles of Defense Magic" to page 5 and began to read it. It's extremely boring, just like listening to Professor Bins's speech. He felt that his concentration had left him; soon, he began to read the same line non-stop for many minutes. A few quiet minutes passed.
Beside him, Ron unconsciously turned the quill around his finger, reading the same word continuously. Harry looked at Hermione and Van Linna, and then he didn't feel bored anymore.
Hermione didn't even open her "Principles of Defense Magic", she was staring at Professor Umbridge motionlessly.
Harry couldn't remember when Hermione would ignore the teacher's order, or just open a book under her nose.
Fanlin flipped through his brows quickly, extremely fast, and Harry had noticed that it was the back part of the book.
Ha looked at Fanlin with a questioning gaze, but Fanlin just shook his head slightly to indicate that Fanlin was not thinking about how to answer the question, and then continued to look at Professor Umbridge, who was looking in other directions.
After a few minutes passed, of course, Harry stopped looking only at Hermione. The chapter they were going to read was so boring that more and more people began to pay attention to the changes of some people or looked at Professor Umbridge’s eyes and did not read the book.
When almost half of the people did not go to read, Professor Umbridge seemed to feel that this situation could no longer be ignored.
"Are you going to ask anything about this chapter, dear?" Professor Umbridge asked Hermione ~EbookFREE.me~ as if she meant Hermione.
"It's not about books, no," Hermione said.
"Well, keep reading," Professor Umbridge said, showing her teeth. "If you have other questions, you can ask me at the end of the class."
"I have a question about your course goals," Fanlin said quickly, looking up.
Professor Umbridge raised her eyes.
"Mr. Fanlin El? If you are like the young lady next to you."
"I mean, regarding your course, Professor Umbridge, I think I should be responsible for my classmates."
"Oh, of course, you are the new male chairperson, so..." Umbridge paused slightly, "Do you have any questions about the problems in the book?"
"Oh, I don't have it. It is very detailed." Fanlin said, "But what I want to ask is, why is there no defensive spell in this book?"
