Chapter 1042:

"You are not that cold," she said, looking into his eyes.
"I am cold."
She shook her head stubbornly. "Be nice to me. You can. Only for this moment, when I am not alone or afraid, only this moment before tomorrow, when everything starts again."
Kane didn't answer, but he relaxed slightly in the chair and leaned back.
She smiled at him, it was a warm and earthy smile, which eliminated all the hardiness and irony. "Will you have a drink with me? A small drink to spend the night, so maybe you won't remember me that much, so maybe you think I have some inner and human touch?"
Kane waited, looking at her shiny eyes. "Have a drink," he said.
She smiled and stood up and returned to the ship where Fairchild had set up a portable railing. She poured two glasses of wine, and when Kane looked at her, he noticed that in her upright, still posture, the animal's flexibility had disappeared. She was innocent-she looked naive, and when she came back, he saw tears still on her face.
She handed him a glass, and she raised her hand. "Stale toast-these are two people I met on the night of Venus... briefly."
"Two people," Kane repeated, raising his glass. The Scot burned his throat.
She knelt down again and smiled at him. Kane noticed that the music was still beating in the night sky and the black dress was still very thin. He raised the glass again and hurriedly finished the drink. Even with her simplicity and tears, he did not believe in himself.
The Scotch whiskey seemed to catch his blood, and he could feel it rushing in his veins.
He lifted the glass three times, and the hand holding the glass seemed to suddenly break away from his movement. His head began to sing, then disappeared, and when he looked at her, his smiling lips turned red and his shiny teeth turned white. The music is beating on his head, as if moving his brain.
"What...?" He started, his voice heavy. He shook his head and looked at his cup. It fell from his hand.
"A little witch's potion," she said. "Something from the Martian cauldron. Quick, oh, so effective."
He struggled with the feeling of catching him. Until there was only the sound of drums in his head, his brain seemed to be dead, and his feeling was still alive and burning. He could see her in front of her, and then she started to swing back and forth, moving her hands in front of her face. He grabbed the arm of the chair to prevent his hand from reaching out.
He tried to stay rational, but his hands wanted to escape. A flame flickered somewhere in the distance, and the black-covered corpse in front of him began to tremble. The moving pink hand rose in the air, and the faint muscles gleamed and danced gracefully.
He clenched on the chair, clenching his teeth, but the drum was beating over and over again on his senses, his lips were smiling, his white teeth were shining, and his pink body moved with the drum.
"Not yet?" He heard what she said, far away.
Then the body slowly turned around, circling in the faint black light.
Kane lost his grip on the chair and he was doing it. He heard the high laughter stinging his ears, and he couldn't stop himself. He was listening to laughter when his fingers touched the skin, and thereafter only black.
Mind check. judge. Decided. "Grittle?" The voice was rounded. The gold bar opens quickly. A black cat squatted down. The green head nodded inside the hood. The cat jumped up, squatted down again, and then started tracking. Uncovered eyes turned to the puck. The voice chanted. "Gritt?"

The boots grabbed his head and he woke up. He rolled over the ground, pain erupting in his mind. Boots found him again. Another time, above his eyes. He groaned, trying to make his muscles work, but it seemed that he was still trapped by nightmares.
He heard "dirty pig", his eyes watched as his fist threw out of the foggy air and hit his cheek. He rolled again, buried his face on the ground, and tried to hide to protect himself until he could find his senses and coordination.
"You will kill him." This is a woman's voice, which is a very familiar feminine voice. Kane tensed himself, waiting for the next blow.
"Get up," a man said.
The sturdy boots were resting on his lap. He slowly turned around and pulled himself into a sitting position. He shook his head, but the early morning fog seemed to have entered his brain. His arms and legs looked like lead had been injected into his veins.
Slowly, it returned to him. woman. Scotch. He searched the misty area in front of him. His mouth is ugly, looking at him with a pistol in his hand. The woman was behind Fairy, still wearing a black robe, and Kane could see it torn apart.
"I am going to kill you now," Fairy Boy said hoarsely, "but I want that gem. Stand up."
"Honey," the woman said to Kane, her husband dancing to her husband. "He is such a mess."
Jianjian tried to swallow, even hard. Every part of his body is controlled by the drugs poured into the wine, and every movement is a task he is sure he cannot accomplish. He slowly raised a hand to his face, and his fingers became sticky.
"Get up!" Fairy boy roared, eyes fiercely slit.
Kane knelt down and fell again. He clung to the ground, waiting for the broken boots. Here, he tried again. He bends his knees twice and then stands up inch by inch. For a moment, his head seemed to float from his head, looking down at his body, thinking that what he saw must be someone else's thing, a soft, clothed, cut, and no clothes. He fell down again.
The grabbed arm drew him straight. "I will give you two minutes to put on your clothes, Kane, and get control of that ship."
He looked at Fairchild Semiconductor awkwardly. The man shook him. Kane turned around, looking for clothes by the dead fire. He swayed and fumbled, twice, with black covering his eyes, and he knelt down.
In the end, he was standing, knitting, and wearing clothes casually, and he vaguely knew that blood was slipping from his chin and dripping onto his jacket. He touched the blood stain with his finger, which didn't make any sense to him.
The man turned to his wife. "The same with you. Enter the cabin!"
"Charles." She pleaded. "He made me drink a lot."
"Go on!" Fairchild said, waving his pistol.
She smiled crookedly and walked towards the boat. The fog filled the jungle so that no boats no more than ten or twelve yards away could be seen. Jianjian heard the sound of the hatch opening and closing.
Fairchild once again pointed the gun at Kane's stomach. He said: "You better pay attention to every step you take." "This gun will stay on you until I get the gem, and the only reason you live, your lice, is because I have to Own it. Do you understand?"
Kane searched for his voice, which became thick and tense. "Can't fly you..." He watched the man's face turn pale, and the gun trembled in Fairchild's hand. Then, the gun swayed in the air, and Kane watched the gun come until it hit him in the eye.
