Bygraves was hurt, and he couldn’t help but let out a roar of rage.
The ranged attacks didn’t deal that much damage. After they were averaged out, everyone dealt less than a hundred damage, but the NPCs had struck him with a painful blow.
Some were Night Elf Rangers, while others were Dwarven Marksmen. There were Human Paladins, Gnome Thieves and many other combinations mixed in the crowd. Like Bygraves, they were all Bosses, but they were slightly weaker with a level difference.
However, the amount of damage they dealt was visible – it emptied out a chunk out of Bygraves’ health bar.
Lu Li and Water Fairy were both attacking as well. The two Thieves had caused a lot of trouble for Bygraves, especially their attacks with the Moon Goddess’ Rage effect. This stopped the health regeneration ability that Bygraves had as an Orc. He was old, and his regeneration skills were already weakened by age, so the attack effect made it even worse.

Stand back!
Lu Li shouted, but he and Water Fairy charged into the Boss.
Whirlwind!
As a Warrior, Bygraves wasn’t happy about being unable to fight back. His Whirlwind was slightly different from other Warriors. After it was casted, his axe seemed to grow in size and it dealt damage to a larger range.
Similarly, the damage of the spell was also increased. Lu Li didn’t want to tank this damage up front either, but he knew how professional Berserkers battled. They wouldn’t allow their Whirlwinds to miss. If everyone dodged it, they would instantly move into a cluster of people to cast it, and they would definitely choose the most-packed spot. In that case, the loss would be too great. Lu Li and Water Fairy could tank it, but other ranged players definitely could not.

Dirty Night Elves!
Bygraves cried out as he cast his ultimate spell, but he didn’t even kill a single player. He had no clue why this happened.

Dear Bygraves, when you raised your knife to slaughter the innocent, did you ever imagine this day?
Lu Li asked lightly. It felt too good to tank a Toss while the Boss couldn’t kill him. In this very moment, he could look down on Azure Sea Breeze. He really wished he could show Azure Sea Breeze who the number one tank in Dawn was.
Bygraves was actually incredibly strong, many times stronger than the captain, but he was unlucky today.
First, he encountered Lu Li, who had a bug-like buff and a full team of strong healers who were supporting him from behind. Usually, when NPCs battled, there was no healing or drinking potions.
If they stuck to their plans, the main tank would be the key to taking down Bygraves. A level 60 Warrior with exquisite gear usually can’t tank Bygraves.
The damage that Bygraves dealt wasn’t just physical damage alone. He had been buffed by Gul’dan before, so his attacks came with evil attributes. These kinds of attacks meant that normal Warrior tanks couldn’t handle him well, since they lacked resistance. Only defence Paladins with exquisite gear would be suitable to tank him.
Besides this, Bygraves was a Boss that really stuck to the rules.
There were many Bosses in Dawn that ignored typical battle rules. Oftentimes during a battle, the aggression would switch and all of a sudden, the Boss would turn to the other players.
Situations like these often led to a wipe and the current situation was similar. If Bygraves turned around to target all the ranged players that Lu Li brought along, there was nothing more that Lu Li could do. After all, these ranged players didn’t have the same buff that he did. Bygraves could eliminate half of them easily.

An Orc phrase that was hard to understand came out of Bygraves’ mouth.
He wasn’t casting a spell. Although his attacks had attributes of evil, Bygraves was purely a Warrior. He was just asking for reinforcement from his underlings, who were in chaos themselves.
As a commander, there was no way he would battle alone from start to end.
Even Lu Li didn’t hope that he would do so.
The Horde soldiers realized that their commander was being attacked and gave up on the running Thieves to turn back and help.
The first to react were the Orc Warriors. The other Undead seemed to ignore this issue and kept chasing their target.
This was easy to understand.
Bygraves was an old soldier that had been around the battlefield. He wasn’t respected amongst the Orcs, because he had slain too many innocents. During the process, he even slew some new Orc soldiers who refused his command.
These evil acts brought many Orcs to shame. In the values of Orcs, there was nothing glorious about slaying the innocent.
However, Bygraves was their commander at this point. It would also be a shame for the rest of their lives to lose their commander on a battlefield. As such, they had no choice but to put aside their dislike towards Bygraves and quickly turn around to support him.
On the other hand, the Undead, or rather, the Forgotten Ones, didn’t care about this.
They had originated from an item called the Plague Pot. This item was brought by Kel’Thuzad to Lordaeron and was placed in villages. It was mainly used to spread the plague, and soon, the villagers in the North of Lordaeron were infected and became slaves to the Lich King. Kel’Thuzad named them as the Scourge Army.
When the Lich King’s control over his army grew weaker during the third war, a small gruop of Undead escaped the dictatorship of their master. They swore loyalty to Queen Sylvanas and called themselves the Forgotten Ones.
This meant that these Undead soldiers were actually innocent villagers in the first place.
War, which was never meant to be a part of their lives, had impacted them, so the Forgotten Ones hated people like Bygraves who killed the innocent. If it wasn’t for the fact that the faction rules were set down, they might even turn around to help Lu Li take out their own commander.
As for the Trolls and Blood Elves, their numbers were too little.
Only around 40 Orc soldiers responded to the call and joined in the battle to protect their commander. This at least made Bygraves feel a lot safer about the situation.
Unfortunately, before he got the chance to rest up, the two annoying Night Elves dashed at him again. He had no choice but to raise his axe once more to fight. He couldn’t understand what Lu Li’s teacher offered him to have this disciple work so hard.
Lu Li didn’t know what reward he would receive from taking down Bygraves either, but he was certain about one thing – the reward definitely wouldn’t disappoint him.
Forty Orcs combined was a fearsome power, enough to sweep out any group of players. After all, each individual had the strength of a Boss. This meant that 40 strong tanks were required to withstand them, and they also needed healers to back them up.
Lu Li didn’t have any of this, but he had his comrades. The captain instructed the same amount of Alliance NPCs to help Lu Li and his crew defend against the approaching Orc soldiers.
