Lu Li brought the riders to where he had hidden people before. Then, he transformed into a crow and searched the edge of the mainland. Very quickly, he found that shard of land. By this time, the human scout was able to sit up.
He was extremely happy to see Lu Li. Then, the System notified Lu Li that he had finished the quest of saving the scout.
Apart from a massive amount of EXP, he also received lots of Reputation. He hadn’t received this much Reputation in all the time he had spent at the Stair of Destiny fighting monsters. Lu Li could even say that even if he were given two Strengthening Skills Books now, he would have enough Reputation to finish studying them both.
Actually, the real reward was still the EXP. Before Lu Li accepted this quest, his EXP bar was at 3% of level 61. This quest alone raised it to 21%, which was an increase of 17% in EXP.
Levelling up from level 61 to 62 compared with 60 to 61 was an exponential increase. This 17% increase made up for Lu Li’s time at the Stair of Destiny, where he had monsters for half a day.
Following the troops back to the Expeditionary Camp, Lu Li received the highest praise from the camp commander, before he was awarded with more EXP and Reputation.
Brave warrior of Azeroth, thank you for all that you’ve done for the Expeditionary Camp. Now, I have a quest to give you. I don’t know if you are willing to accept,
the camp commander said. He was extremely satisfied with all Lu Li had done.
Lu Li simply couldn’t believe his ears. His Charisma was so low, he was practically insulated from receiving quests. It was only a few NPCs that he was relatively close with that would issue him quests.
He wasn’t an arrogant person and immediately nodded his head with enthusiasm.
I can do it. No matter what it is, I’ll do my very best.
It turns out I’ve judged you well.
The commander was even more satisfied with Lu Li. He pointed at the boars outside the camp, saying,
You see over there, these pigs can really breed quite a lot…
Could it be that he wanted him to kill Helboars? That really was too easy.
They leave their excrement all over the place…
Lu Li suddenly had a bad feeling. This wasn’t how you treated your hero, was it?
It attracts a lot of Marauding Crust Bursters, and we’ve lost quite a few warriors to them…
He wants me to kill those damned Marauding Crust Bursters, right? No matter how hard they are to kill I’ll still go for it,
Lu Li thought to himself.
So, can you help us clean up the Helboar poop from around our camp?
Pfft.
Lu Li nearly died from his intense feelings. He stared straight ahead and nodded mechanically, saying,
No problem, I can do that. Yes, I can, it’s not too hard for me, commander. Is there really no other quest that’s more challenging?
Since you’re willing, how about you do this quest first and we’ll see.
The camp commander didn’t notice the variety of colors on Lu Li’s face at all.
The helmsman of Ruling Sword and the number one player in the game foolishly took out his spade tool as well as a container for collecting poop. He then exited the camp with his face devoid of meaning.
These damned Helboars were mutant creatures that arose when disaster struck Draenor.
No one knew where they got their food from, and no one purposely went to raise them. Unless someone was starving, they wouldn’t choose to eat their sour flesh which was devoid of any nutritional value.
One heap, two heaps, three heaps, four heaps, five heaps…
A groaning Helboar came over. Lu Li put down the spade and hit it, as if he were venting out his anger. It was these damned boars that put him in this poor, embarrassing position.
Of course, the Helboar couldn’t win against him, but before it died, it pooped out a heap with great force. It was even nice and fresh this time.
This was an interesting game!
Two hundred heaps of boar poop had been all collected up. Lu Li let out long sigh of relief and went back to the camp.
I knew you were the best – you completed this quest much faster than our best warrior. This is your reward,
the camp commander said. Apart from EXP, he also gave Lu Li a blueprint.
The EXP amount was massive. In the end, there weren’t many risks associated with this quest. It was said there were Marauding Crust Bursters, but Lu Li didn’t encounter a single one.
The blueprint was for a firearm – a level 65 Gold weapon for Hunters. This was already considered a massive prize. In the current patch, one blueprint could make 10 weapons.
If you are satisfied with this reward, we sincerely hope that you can take on the responsibility for cleaning the camp long-term,
the camp commander offered.
Thank you, sir, but I think I have to continue my adventures now,
Lu Li firmly rejected. He didn’t want anything more to do with boar poop. If he did it a few more times, he would probably be shoveling poop in his dreams.
That’s a real shame,
the camp commander sighed.
If your journey takes you to Honor Hold, I hope you can take a letter from me.
No problem at all, commander.
It was relatively easy task to take a letter.
Aside from that, Hellfire Peninsula is going to enter into a large war. There is a mysterious force at work that’s causing trouble. It’s these Fel Orcs which are behind it all. These new Orcs are even bigger, they’re more cruel and more cunning. If we didn’t make any preparations, then we would really be suffering,
the camp commander said.
Ok, I’ll definitely bring it there,
Lu Li breathed out in relief. This was the right way for the quest to go. What was the point in him staying at the camp and shoveling poop?
Lu Li really did need to go to Honor Hold. It was the biggest military fortress for Alliance players in Hellfire Peninsula. The corresponding Horde fortress was called Thrallmar.
Although they had a common enemy in the Burning Legion, the human-led alliance and Orc-led Horde were in still long-standing opposition to each other.
In the beginning, the Horde established a new stronghold on Hellfire Peninsula, Thrallmar. The south was adjacent to Path of Glory and Hellfire Citadel. However, the expeditionary teams that the Alliance sent out to take back The Dark Portal kept coming and cut off their back door to get back to Azeroth. Those who stayed in Thrallmar were trapped between rocks and the wilderness.
Since Thrallmar’s conventional reinforcements had already been cut off, the residents here could only rely on adventurers from the Horde to help them face the many threats on Hellfire Peninsula.
The Burning Legion set up camps to the north and east of the stronghold, continuously sending soldiers that way. These camps deployed strong cannons. The demons there posed a serious threat to Thrallmar.
If you sat and watched these developments at the camp, it appeared that Burning Legion were going to invade Thrallmar very soon.
Although the Alliance and the Horde were enemies, they were strongly bipartisan towards the problem of Burning Legion. The Hellfire Peninsula worked with having three states peacefully coexisting. Now that there was another group of Fel Orcs, peace was about to be shattered.
However, Lu Li thought they should consider players. Only with their arrival could they truly change the
situation in Hellfire Peninsula.
Players didn’t have anything to offer, except there were a lot of them!
